This seminar, taught by Andrew McNamara, will review available renewable energy technologies, discuss solar photovoltaic (PV) modules and inverters, explore both passive and active solar thermal (ST) systems, cover the latest in financing and incentives for renewable energy installations and examine the cost benefits of solar systems and review case studies of actual solar energy projects.

Credit Information:

– This seminar is open to the public and offers up to 6.0 HSW continuing education hours for architects and 6.0 PDHs for professional engineers in most states, including New York.
– HalfMoon Education is deemed a New York-approved continuing education provider for architects via its affiliation with the American Institute of Architects. HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education provider for New York engineers (NYSED Sponsor No. 35).
– This event is approved by the American Institute of Architects for 6.0 SD/HSW Learning Units (Sponsor No. J885).
– Courses approved by the AIA qualify for New Jersey architect continuing education credit. Course approval has been applied for New Jersey engineers, which is pending.
– HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for architects in Florida and North Carolina. HalfMoon Education is an approved continuing education sponsor for engineers in Florida, Louisiana, Maryland, North Carolina, and North Dakota.

Attendance will be monitored, and attendance certificates will be available after the seminar for most individuals who complete the entire event. Attendance certificates not available at the seminar will be mailed to participants within fifteen business days.

Tuition $259.00 for one attendee, or $239.00 for 3 or more from the same company or firm registering at the same time.

Each registration includes one copy of a manual prepared by the seminar speakers.
